Museum Militaria is located in Hämeenlinna, in the Linnankasarmi area next to Häme’s old castle at Vanhan kaupungin katu 19, 13100 Hämeenlinna. The journey there is about 10 km from The Parola Armour Museum.

The equipment of the museum's basic exhibition consists of tanks, armoured vehicles, an armoured train, and anti-tank guns and anti-tank equipment.

The basic exhibition also includes the uniforms of tankers throughout the ages displayed in the main exhibition hall, as well as personal histories of those who served in the Armoured Division during the war.

  • Winter fun for the whole family

    Winter fun for the whole family at The Parola Armour Museum!


    Join us at The Parola Armour Museum on February 22-23, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for a fun-filled winter event! This event offers exciting activities for all ages, with both outdoor and indoor options to enjoy.

    Saturday, February 22, 2025:
    Outdoor activities:

    • Sledding hill: fun for the whole family!
    • Tandem skis/skiing: Test your balance and try skiing with a partner!
    • Grenade throwing challenge: How accurate are you? Test your skills with a stick hand grenade.
    • Furry friends: Come and meet our furry companions and give them a good pet!
    • Tracked vehicle ride: Get a chance to ride in a real tracked BMP-1 vehicle! (8 €/person)

    Indoor activities:

    • Video games: play the popular tank games World of Tanks and War Thunder.
    • Board Games: Follow the progress of the board game tournament. You can't participate, but players are happy to share updates on the game!
    • Object exhibition and obstacle course: Dive deeper into the world of military history and explore unique artifacts inside.
    • Tank Brigade Equipment Display: Check out the equipment of the Armoured Brigade on the museum grounds.

    Sunday, February 23, 2025:

    • Board games: Come watch the final moments of the board game tournament in the second exhibition hall. Players will be happy to share details of the game progress.

    Admission fees:

    • Child (6-16 years old): 6 €
    • Tracked vehicle ride: 8 €/person
