Museum Militaria is located in Hämeenlinna, in the Linnankasarmi area next to Häme’s old castle at Vanhan kaupungin katu 19, 13100 Hämeenlinna. The journey there is about 10 km from The Parola Armour Museum.

The equipment of the museum's basic exhibition consists of tanks, armoured vehicles, an armoured train, and anti-tank guns and anti-tank equipment.

The basic exhibition also includes the uniforms of tankers throughout the ages displayed in the main exhibition hall, as well as personal histories of those who served in the Armoured Division during the war.

    • Action Demonstrations: Watch historic armored vehicles in action during two live demonstrations throughout the day.
    • Magic Shows: Be amazed by Magician Marcus Alexander with two enchanting performances.
    • Activities & Attractions: Enjoy bouncy castles, friendly farm animals, pony rides, face painting, street chalk drawing, and a fun museum orienteering game.
    • Exhibitions: Explore our newly updated temporary exhibitions inside the museum.

     

    Food & Treats

    • Outdoor Canteen: Delicious grilled sausages and fresh pancakes available in the museum yard.
    • Sweet Treats: Liquorice and soft-serve ice cream vendors will also be on-site.

     

    Tank & Armored Vehicle Rides
    Experience a thrilling ride at the old Parola airfield! Tickets for the rides are sold at a separate ticket booth located at the airfield.

    • BMP-1 Infantry Fighting Vehicle: €15/child, €20/adult, and €50/family. (Please note: Minimum height requirement for the BMP-1 ride is 130 cm).
    • Patria Armored Vehicle: €15/person.

    General admission tickets to the event area can be purchased at the gate on the day of the event (cash and card accepted).

    Parking & Transportation
    Parking is available at the Armour Brigade parking lots (Parolannummentie 341). A free non-stop shuttle bus will run between the parking area and the museum gates. The last shuttle bus departs from the museum back to the parking lot at approximately 16:00 (4 PM).
