Museum Militaria is located in Hämeenlinna, in the Linnankasarmi area next to Häme’s old castle at Vanhan kaupungin katu 19, 13100 Hämeenlinna. The journey there is about 10 km from The Parola Armour Museum.

The equipment of the museum's basic exhibition consists of tanks, armoured vehicles, an armoured train, and anti-tank guns and anti-tank equipment.

The basic exhibition also includes the uniforms of tankers throughout the ages displayed in the main exhibition hall, as well as personal histories of those who served in the Armoured Division during the war.

  • Evening at the museum

    The evenings are getting darker as autumn has already arrived. You can still see the glimmers of light from fairies and forest spirits in the twilight before winter sets in. Our museum also turns into a mystical experience during the day, a play of light and shadow.
    The Armored Museum exhibition halls are decorated with mystical and fun decorations to create a themed atmosphere.

    The Butterfly Fairy is at the museum from 10 am to 3 pm.
    She makes glitter tattoos/face paintings for children.

    Selene Dance&Arts light art show at 4 pm and 6:30 pm.
    Between light art shows, the performers can be found in the museum area.

    The Armored Brigade's equipment will be presented in the museum yard from 10 am to 3 pm.
    Leopard 2 Marksman and NASAMS will be on site.

    Other things to see and do:
    Friendly dog ​​Basso walks around the area.
    Coloring tasks.
    Museum orienteering
    Throwing a hand grenade.

    The Tankkitupa café is open until 8pm, selling small salty snack and mouth-watering sweet treats.
    The museum shop has nice souvenirs and gifts. Sparkling and exciting items have been added to the selection in honor of the theme day.
